Choosing the right Bodybuilding Equipments
 
Bodybuilding and equipment go hand in hand. The sport requires following a rigorous exercise regime for which adequate equipment is a must. Whether you are planning to build a home gym or wish to join a professional coaching centre, you need to know all about the right kind of equipment necessary for your training.

Your training will be demanding an elaborate exercise gear, the absence of which is likely to impact your training directly. Bodybuilding focuses on weightlifting and various other exercises in order to develop a great body.

There is a wide range of body building gear available in the market these days in all sorts or shapes and sizes. Equipment can make a significant difference to the final outcome of your body in a number of ways. Firstly, you need to determine the type of equipment you are looking for and then determine its capabilities. It is best for you to take professional guidance while purchasing gadgets for the gym.  You must emphasize on the quality of the gear rather than its look and feel.

You must buy the kind of equipment best suited to your needs. This requires you to identify your strengths and weaknesses and what you will be working on and then go ahead and make the final purchase. For instance, if your aim is to build muscle mass, you need gravity dependent free weights. You must only opt for the equipment that allows you to do exercises specific for your body type.

Some of the important body building equipments are:

Weight bench: This is the ideal equipment for you if your aim is to build large body muscles. It comes with a pair of bar bells weighing about 10-40 pounds which can gradually be increased depending upon the capability of your body.

Weights: They are the most important part of the body building apparatus.  The different types of weights are-

Power Racks: This self-supporting system is a great mass-building device with its potential to initiate a dramatic difference in the development of your body. It allows you to work on your own with heavy weights and heavy lifts that play an important role in the mass building process. Most power packs are accompanied with pull-up and dip bars and a high/low pulley. This enables you to do triceps pushdowns, lat bar pull downs, rows etc.
Push-up and Pull-up bars: This is ideal for arm sculpting. If you are looking to make your arms big, then add some reps twice a week and tone it up with frequent reps at small intervals. 

Dumbbells: Dumbbell sets can be extremely useful as you can carry them anywhere you like. They will also prove an asset to your bodybuilding equipment. For those suffering from medical conditions like arthritis and back pain aquatic dumbbells is the ultimate solution. They can be used in the pool where your body weight will be supported by water thereby decreasing the stress on your muscles. Handles or mini-barbells are also a great option.

Micro- Weights: They impart the ability to increase your lifts by increments between 1 and 5 lbs. This can be a huge help in building muscle where your success will depend on your ability to continually be increasing the weights you handle and can be a great plateau buster for all your lifts.

Cardio Equipment - When trying to build muscle mass, the purpose of cardio equipment is to warm up the body. It is not advisable to carry out a tough workout without performing a routine cardio as the overall performance and effectiveness of your workout will suffer increasing your chances of injury. A jump rope or stationary bicycle is a good choice.
