Basic tips for strength training
If you want to increase your stamina, flexibility and strength to your body then strength training play an important role in this process. It will also increase your muscle size and remove extra weight from your body.
1. Proper warm up and rest: Warm–up is an excellent activity before any kind of exercises, it will prevent you from the different kind of injuries. Before you start your strength training, warm up with light cardio or a light set of each exercise before going to heavier weights.
Rest is an important part for your muscles grow. Don’t workout on the same muscle group two days in a row and give a good amount of recovery or rest periods to your body. Proper rest removes all kind of stress and tiredness from your body, which will be very useful during strength training sessions.
2. Resistance and integrated training: Resistance training is very useful to develop the strength and size of skeletal muscles. In this exercise, each effort is performed against a particular opposing force generated by resistance. It will increase the resistance power of your body and prevent your muscles from any kind of injuries.
Integrated training is a complete strength training program. It includes flexibility training, balance training, core stabilization, reactive training, nutrition and speed training.
3. Proper movements and breathe: Avoid jerky movements and lift your weights properly. Wrong movements are not good for your muscles, and it will also hurt your strength training sessions. Perform each exercise with good posture and engage your abs in every movement, so that you can balance your body and protect your spine for injury.
Breathe properly with a full range of motion throughout the movements. If you will hold your breathe during exercise then it will hurt your body and muscle.
