Bodybuilding Myths Busted:
No cardio with Weight Exercises – Weight exercises impacts the heart as well. Doing the weights with resting session of 2 minute raises the heart beat with the heart rate going above hundred depending on the intensity of doing weights. Heart expands and contracts faster to affect the complete cardiovascular system resulting in complete workout of body.
Weightlifting exercises done with the interval of 2 minutes would lead to the complete cardio workout along with muscle building.
Muscles become fat once the exercise is stopped – This is a big misinterpretation. When the exercise is stopped, muscle becomes soft. The fat which is gained is because of the carbohydrates and sugar rich diet which the person starts consuming. This myth is originated because of this fact. If low fat is maintained, then the person will not gain any weight.
Growth is stopped once the weight lifting exercises are done – The growth is not affected if the weights are lifted according to the weight and height and as prescribed with the fitness trainer. Optimum weightlifting does not impact the growth and development. Optimum weight lifting leads to building of muscles and cardio without any negative effects.
Quick big with weights exercises – There is no way of growing big quick except using steroids which are not healthy for body. The muscles grow big with consistent and continuous workout and diet plan.
Supplements make a person grow big – Supplements do help in growing big but they only aid. Lifting the weights do the main work of building the muscles. However, before taking the supplements it is advised to consult fitness trainer.
