Braces usually feature as hard plastic or hinge material, and are useful in restricting the movement of the damaged part. This restrictive movement is highly beneficial in recovering from injury, as it allows the muscle in the region to relax. Supports available for braces are soft pads that provide cushion and warmth to the region of injury preventing further dilapidation of the injured part.
