Cabbage is an excellent dietary component for weight loss
Cabbage has an excellent property of slowing down the rate of conversion of sugar and other carbohydrates into deposit able fats. Cabbage also has a lot of dietary fiber and roughage content and is also rich in water content making it an excellent candidate for being eaten as salad. Cooked cabbage is also very low in calories and can be considered as an excellent component of weight loss diet.
