Exercising During Pregnancy a Few Points of Consideration

It is a cherished fact that generating a new life is a privilege celebrated by the woman and is a fulfilling experience as well. Although, a lot of skepticism exists in terms of relating exercising with pregnancy and also the effects that exercise or weight training might inundate upon the child, still up to a certain stage of pregnancy it is possible to indulge in weight training and fitness routines.

Safety aspects of exercising during pregnancy

According to the experiences of most medical practitioners, it can be affirmed that exercising is not a big problem during pregnancy. In the initial phase of pregnancy, a properly set exercising schedule would be highly beneficial not only for you but for your baby as well. Apart from mild aerobics and stretching exercises a little bit of yoga actions like pranayama (already discussed in previous articles) could be helpful for you to feel fit and healthy.

How does exercise affect health during pregnancy?

While exercise not only helps to retain shape it also leads to endorphin release in the body. Endorphins, are a group of neuronal hormones that help in relieving constipation, relieve backaches and spinal pressure, and are also helpful in assisting towards a sound sleep. Apart from this, a little bit of back stretching exercises when performed under medical supervision can be highly beneficial to alleviate pain during pregnancy. Back stretching exercises can also be continues past child birth to ensure effective joint movements and reduced chances of back pain in old age.

Exercise and regaining pre-pregnancy figure

A very common point of stress in most working women is the loss of their body shape and perfect figure due to pregnancy. A very good solution to circumvent this problem is proper exercise regimen. In continuation to this article, we would be throwing light on some exercises specifically designed for pregnant women and their applicability in daily routine life.

In general, it can be conclusively stated that pregnancy by no means leads to a lack of exercising, by proper exercising and appropriate health supervision by experts the pre and post pregnancy fitness could be maintained at similar levels.
