Fitness And Exercise Could Reduce Sexual Problems
Ever wondered what could be the solution to your sexual problems, apart from taking the hyped wonder drug like Viagra. Believe it or not your physical fitness, and a healthy exercise routine could be major factors factors to help you out in improving your sex life. Dysfunction in sexual abilities and sexual problems in both sexes appear to be widespread in society. The causes for sexual problems and dysfunctions are mulitiple and influenced by both health-related and psychosocial factors. Quality of life and the lack of exercising patterns can also lead to lack of sexual motivation.
In an interesting research conducted by a group of researchers at Department of Geriatrics and Metabolic Diseases, University of Naples, Italy the researchers proved that that modifiable health behaviors, including physical activity and leanness, are associated with a reduced risk for erectile dysfunction (ED) among men. Erectile dysfunction until the launch of Viagra was considered to almost incurable by pills and required surgical methods in general.
How can exercise help in improving sexual functionality?
Understandably, this question could be a part of the curiosity for most of us. In general, exercise is a very good way to improve the overall blood circulatory mechanism of the body. The high prevalence of Erectile Dysfunction in patients with cardiovascular problems suggests that abnormalities of the vasodilator system of penile arteries play an important role in the cause of ED, in simpler terms the penis is not able to get the required blood flow causing a failure of the mechanism.
Another interesting research observation shows that there is a higher prevalence of impotence in obese men, since obesity has direct correlation with exercise in most cases therefore, it is also a support to the evidence that exercising could help in ameliorating the problems of ED. Obesity is a risk factor to sexual health that can be controlled by exercises.
What kind of exercises would help?
It is difficult to state a particular type of exercise for improving sexual function, but believe us if you are fit and agile your performance on any stage, may it be your bedroom or a sports competition would always be better if you start exercising and remain fit.
