Fitness While Working On Your Computer

Our PC’s have transformed the way we live in more than one ways. We are so preoccupied with our desk work that we can hardly find any time for devoting to exercising. As we have been already trying to help you get out of this trouble and ensure that you get a sufficient dose of exercise while you are working. In this article we would be discussing about the exercises that can be done while you are still sitting on your desktop.

Sit properly in an upright position

A proper posture throughout the time you are working on your desktop is very essential from the fitness point of view. You must always sit appropriately, in a good chair, the chair design and height should suit to your requirements for the working. Always remember to keep the back as straight as possible, do not hunch your spine in any case.

Position your shoulders backhave a straight vision and position of the eyes should be nearly similar to the top of the monitor. Do n ot rest your arms on the key board or the mouse pad, it is an important aspect of relaxing the hand muscles, as placing the hand in this position makes the muscles stressed and can also lead to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Take regular breaks and allow yourself some space

Do not sit for a very long time in a single posture, always move around in every half hours, this ensures proper circulation in the body and also helps in taking away fatigue. The muscular numbness can also be relieved if you move around a little bit while continuously doing your work.

A few exercises to help you remain fit

Stretch yourself a little bit, these stretching exercises may include calf stretch , while stretching out your calf muscles sitiign on your seat, also ensure that you give your eyes a break from the scree. This calf stretch is useful in preventing blood clots from being developed in your legs. Lack of blood circulation is one of the biggest cause of fatigue in the legs in regular computer users. You should also ensure that you roll your ankles regularly, it is another good way to improve circulation and reduce fatigue.
