On the other hand, it is always better to avoid cheese, ghee nuts and milk. A very good dietary supplement for the heart is beta carotene, some of the foods rich in beta carotene could be an excellent dietary option. These foods include carrots, cabbage, sweet potatoes and dark leafy greens.

Salt is the biggest enemy of the heart

Did you ever realize that common table salt is one of the biggest foes for a proper cardiac functioning, it would be better that you take a note of this soon and reduce your salt consumption. As such it has been proved that, salt is not a primary nutrition requirement, and it is mainly a taste craving for the salt that makes it an important part of the food recipe. Lower your salt intake to ensure a healthy heart.

Garlic is an excellent supplement for the heart

A lot of research in the modern world has proved that allicin a component of garlic has excellent serum cholesterol lowering activity. Apart from this aged garlic extract is also considered as a potent cardio-protective drug. Therefore, consumption of garlic on regular basis is advisable for a healthy heart.

Drink, sleep and laugh adequately. These three facets of life may seem to be ordinary, but instead they are magical for a proper health and fitness, especially if the health of heart is under consideration.
