How to Get Bigger Muscles
December 29, 2009
Most people who go to the gym go because they want to have huge muscles. But they are not aware of what they need to eat in order to get their muscles into the shape they want them to be. Many bodybuilders do a lot of things to get very big muscles, but they fail to meet their goals. There are certain secrets you need to know in order to develop your muscles. There are also nutrition plans to follow in order to get bigger muscles.
Nutrition is more important
It is more important to get the right muscle nutrition than to engage in vigorous exercise plans. Having proper nutrition is the only way to get your muscles to grow fast. About 60 percent of muscle growth depends on nutrition; the workout only provides 40 percent of the process. This difference does not mean that you should start buying supplements immediately. You will lose money for nothing. You have to follow the ideal nutrition plan to build the muscles you desire.
The basic plan
Let me give you a basic plan to follow in order to feed your muscles properly so that they can grow bigger. The first thing is to eat 5 to 6 times a day. What you eat should contain a lot of protein, because that is what makes muscles grow. You need 1to 2 grams of protein per pound of body weight. Your sources of protein should include meat, eggs, milk and other dairy products. You must not forget about carbohydrates, but you need more protein. Avoid fat and fatty foods; they will give you fat and not muscles. You want lean muscles.
You need to eat at least 2 major meals a day and 3 or 4 smaller meals or snacks. The two bigger meals should be made up of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vegetables and fruits. The smaller meals should be made only of proteins. Eating a lot of meat will give you the best results. You will be surprised at how quickly your muscles grow from eating enough meat.
These are just the basics for a good nutrition plan. You need to follow a good nutrition program in order to get the best results. You must take your nutrition seriously if you are looking for bigger muscles. If you don’t, then you will waste your time at the gym.
