Magnesium – Magnesium is related with the protein synthesis and production of energy. Magnesium is actively lost by bodybuilders in sweat and does not get replenishes as the food rich in magnesium is not a part of bodybuilders balanced diet. Calcium – Calcium is a popular mineral, however, its importance for the bodybuilders is underestimated. Phosphorus – Phosphorus is required to produce ATP which is energy molecule. Phosphorus with calcium produce theses energy molecules and it is necessary to maintain the calcium phosphorus ratio.
Vanadium – Vanadium stores glycogen in the muscle tissues and is becoming popular among the bodybuilders. Bodybuilders take vanadium in the form of vanadyl sulphate to overcome the deficiency of vanadium in muscles.
