Prostate cancer is a disease in which a hypertrophy i.e. excessive proliferation of the prostatic cells occurs, this leads to an enlarged prostate size, other late stage symptoms of prostate cancer include frequent urination, incomplete emptying of bladder and a feeling of micturination throughout the day, blood or pus in urine, blood in semen.
Apart from this the other symptoms that may accompany prostate cancer include low back pain, interrupted or a weak urine stream, inability to urinate properly, severe pain and itching during urination etc. Amongst various causes of prostate cancer, a major cause in men using steroids is excessive androgenesis.
