As a very well said verse Peterl Gabriell ‘Its not so bad to be old but its really bad to be fat and old.’ Similarly, if you take care of your body and figure and grow old apart from being healthy than you are surely doing justice with your body and your old age alike. In this article we would be focusing on some of the strategies that you can adopt to stay fit and age healthy. As a matter of fact, if you grow healthy you do not age.

Weight management is age management

If you have the desire to grow healthy as you age, the first thing that you should regularly take care about is your weight. To maintain your weight and fight the coronary heart disease as well as other dilapidating conditions that follow obesity and excess body weight must be kept under control.

We have been regularly informing you about the diets which can be helpful in fighting obesity and weight gain. The least that you can do is eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Curb down your calorie intake, hit the gym and work out regularly. With age you need to check out the specific exercises and also ensure that you do a lot of aerobic exercises to maintain body’s oxygen demand.

Cigarette and Alcohol makes you look older than you are

Nicotine products, tobacco and alcohol are one of the major causes of metabolic problems and are also responsible for early ageing symptoms. If you wish to age healthy and fit, quit smoking from today onwards. As far as alcohol consumption is concerned one or two pegs of quality alcohol is not a problem but getting drunk on regular basis could be an invitation to number of unwanted problems.
