Tips to Build Bigger Muscles

If you are one of those people who are looking to build some huge, fierce muscles, then you need to follow these five important tips. Building huge muscles does not come fast and it is not easy, but by following these rules, you can achieve a bigger physique.

Tip One
Lift heavy. Add as much weight as your body can possibly handle. Trainers estimate that in order to gain more muscle mass, you should lift between 80 to 90 percent of the maximum amount of weight that you can normally handle. When you are lifting a heavier weight, you need to do fewer repetitions and fewer sets. This combination will increase your muscle size. The more weight you force your muscles to lift, the larger they will become. This applies to each muscle group.

Tip Two
Decrease the amount of time that you train. Instead of training for two hours every day of the week, shorten your training sessions and take time off in between to let your muscles recover and repair. Do not work the same muscle group consecutive days.  Instead, alternate the muscle groups that you work on each day. Take a day off in between training to relax your entire body.

Tip Three
When you are training your abdominal muscles, your goal should be to strengthen and tone them, and to lose weight. In order to drop pounds in your mid-section, stick to a healthy diet that does not include foods high in sugar and fat. Add exercises such as the bicycle, a reverse crunch and the basic sit-ups to your routine.

Tip Four
A healthy diet is important to building bigger muscles. You can train as hard as you want, but if you are not eating properly you will not see the results that you want. A healthy diet should include a lot of protein.

Tip Five
Last, do not spend hours each day in the gym. Your total workout should take about 45 minutes. Anything over that and your testosterone level will decrease and your body will produce more cortisol. Cortisol is a chemical that your body produces and it aids to burn muscle and store fat in the body.
