While we are all aware that physical health is a great boon for life, still what we generally do not give attention to is, the fact that the solutions of many health problems are curable by a simple walking exercise. As a matter of great joy, it is walking which is considered as one of the best exercises since time immemorial. When the father of medicine Hippocrates said that walking is the best medicine and is good for health, he was not flabbergasting but he was actually giving a sound advice for the humanity to live fit and healthy.

Walking the way to healthy exercising

Did you ever realize that walking involves a complete motion of the lower abdominal region as well as the region below the abdomen? Now the question that arises is, what is best way to walk? Well the best way to walk is as if you have your both legs attached to your spine as a single joint, if you could walk in this demeanour than not only your smartness is revealed, but you also exercise your back and lumbar region.

Walking as a medicine

Not only a hypothesis anymore, walking has been proved to be an exellent cure for number of health and fitness problems, these problems include really harmful diseases like type 2 diabetes, cardiac problems,improves the performance of central nervous system, especially the brain. In a very interesting study it was revealed that comparative to running walking is a more advanced exercise for strengthening the bones and the cartilages.

The correct forms of walking to enjoy fitness

There are a few important points of consideration in order to enjoy the walking as an exercise completely. First of all, you should always swing your arms, while you walk out, secondly, you should ensure that the first pressrure of your body comes on your heel and then it is slowly transferred to the complete foot palm. Also ensure that you do not hunch your back while you walk and your spine and back are absolutely straight while you are walking around. This would ensure complete fitness, while you walk your way to health.
