Three type of body types are found in humans. These body types are defined by the gene structure and every individual possess a single body type. The body type can’t be changed in the course of life.
The shape of the body is based on the type of body you have. With the help of correct determination of body type, weight loss can be made relatively easy. Every body type has specific features associated with it, based on which, the body type can be recognized. Every individual may not show all the specifications of a certain body type, however, majority of the characteristics present can be used to determine the body type. Three body types are Endomorph, Ectomorph and Mesomorph. Read further to determine your body type and the weight loss tactics associated with it.
Endomorph Type – The individuals with this type of body possess big bones, big thighs and trunks and round face. They have high amount of body fat, accumulated on stomach, abdomen, hips and thighs. Endomorph body type has low metabolism rate and they accumulate fat fast. Individuals with this body type should be careful in their diet. Low calorie diet should be preferred. The proportion of intake of fruits and raw vegetables should be higher in comparison to whole grain foods. Balanced diet should be taken. Lean meat, sea food, low fat milk, fruits and vegetables, brown bread etc should be the preferred diet.
Ectomorph Type – The individuals with this type of body has thin body. They have slender shoulders, waist and hips. Ectomorph type individuals do not have the tendency to accumulate fat. In fact, they have low fat percentage in their body. Ectomorph body has highest rate of metabolism among three body types and they fail to gain weight at any stage of life. Ectomorphs are also shapeless as they have less muscle weight. Muscles are required to give shape to the body. Ectomorphs should eat balanced healthy diet, although they can eat as per their choice because of rare chances of gaining weight.
Mesomorph Type – This is the type considered the best among the three body types. The individuals with this body type have broad shoulder and give the appearance of sturdy human being with athletic body build. They possess huge muscles and fast metabolism keeping them fit and healthy.
