Weight Loss Training - How to Stay Motivated
Lots of health and fitness freaks undergo weight loss training with a dream to have a fit, muscular, lean body, but it is an astounding fact that almost 60-70% of them find it difficult to stay motivated and begin to find exercising boring, cumbersome.
It is at this point, the motivation aspect comes into the consideration. In the present article we would like to have an insight into the various facts of remaining motivated towards one’s exercising schedule as well as improvisations to bring about better fitness results.
The Initial Burst
All of us who have done weight training are quiet aware that after shedding the initial flab, and making an apparently incredible progress in our weight loss program, soon after the rate of reduction becomes slow. It is at this point of time, the mental attitude comes into play. According to most of the experts in the field of fitness and weight loss, 80-90% success potential of the weight training and fitness exercise lies in your mental make up and attitude. Therefore, the first and most important point before you sit down to chart your exercising schedule is, to make a clear cut mental acumen towards achievement of mental fitness.
Have Short Term Goals and Achievable Targets
It is good to be flamboyant, but setting up an unrealistic exercising goal is something that leads to disappointments. As a rule of thumb, make small, achievable targets on weekly basis and then strive hard to achieve them. Apart from being realistic the goals should also be flexible. Always keep you notions clear about the fact that exercising is all about fun and enjoyment. Once the fun part is lost the interest is gone as well.
Support System Ensures Higher Success Rate
A support system, which is nothing but a support and motivation from your family members or your well wisher is very useful. It not only keeps you motivated but also enables you to get regular advices and support.
In the long term always remember that exercising is not just about sweating hard, it should always have an important component of fun and enjoyment, this not only takes away monotony but also make you desire more out of your exercising schedule.
